Google Music Search Launches with MySpace, Lala

Google on Wednesday unveiled a new music search feature that will include in its search results streaming music clips from partners like MySpace, Lala, Pandora , imeem, and Rhapsody. Type in an artist's name, song, or a snippet of lyrics into Google.com and the top of the search results page will include links to song clips. In what could be a death blow to those $50+ mobile phone navigation applications, the NYT reported that Google is launching a turn by turn navigation application for free.
