User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Great GPS Unit!
I really like this GPS! I’ve seen other models with features like changing the image of the vehicle or a number of different voices. This unit proves you don’t need all those extra bells and whistles that go unnoticed 5 minutes into a trip. The wide screen and screen clarity is great. I love when the banner for the upcoming highway turnoff pops up and goes into reality view. The speed assistant feature has come in handy numerous times and has probably saved me several tickets. Day/night feature is nice. I gave a 4-star rating because this is my second unit. Within a month of my first unit, the screen would not respond in the lower left screen quadrant; made the whole unit useless. Amazon exchanged the unit for me with no questions asked, even though it was outside the 30-day window. This second unit works well; very impressed with it. I can’t wait to try out the (free with no pop-ups) traffic feature. Since it’s tied to satellite, what I’d like to see is the option to access the weather and/or road conditions along a route. But for only $199 at Amazon, this thing’s a steal! Love it!

2 Stars flawed
This GPS crashed when trying to use the builtin bluetooth functionality.

The voice recognition feature is inaccurate to a degree that it is useless.

The GUI interface is also awkward, when trying to find/browse without precise addresses.

The setting menu organzation is also awkward and non-intuitive.

4 Stars Lack of POI, but great performance
This is my third GPS. The previous two were GARMIN NUVI 2730 and 760 units. Compare to these two, Navigon has MUCH smaller POI database. There are no post office, no coffee shops, no small stores, no doctor offices, COSTCO or BJs. POI search can be challenging due to the confusing menu. The pairing of your phone is UNAVOIDABLE, due to lack of auto search function after the restart of the unit. Another annoying detail is each time you start the car you NEED to turn unit by pressing very little button(the Garmin do that automatically). Otherwise the unit is GREAT. Accurate guide, great function of reality view and 3D, easy address entry by hand or by voice( just “train” the unit properly), very fast search for the satellites, accurate traffic updates, EXCELLENT price(extra $50 on amazon.com gave you THREE years of map updates). Garmin the one-year map cost more then that. Also the similar functioned NUVI 885T cast $700 instead of $300 for NAVIGON 7200T.

4 Stars navigon 7200t
most items have already been discussed on pro’s and cons which i generally agree. Solid gps, but the software and updates website can be confusing. Not very user friendly. In the end with persistance i got software updated and website navigated. GPS interface is different than most and takes some time to get used to.

5 Stars Best Bang for Your Buck!!!
This is really a great product. I did a lot of research before I made my decision on which device to go with. For the options I wanted, it really came down to the Navigon 7200t and the Garmin 765t. After doing my research, it became a no-brainer due the price comparison. I have been very happy with the 7200t. I did have to exchange the first one I received as it had a bad battery, but the unit functions great! I have not used the bluetooth functionality so I cannot say if it works or not, but outside of that, the unit functions as or better than advertised. Highly recommended!
